Office Building Lobby
The Public Ledger Building is one of the historic and most iconic building in Philadelphia. For this prestigious building the client requested to provide some upgrades for one of the main lobbies to make it feel more contemporary, refined and brighten it up.
To achieve this goal, it was decided to use a number of strategies including: the careful placement of hidden light fixtures to enhance the beauty of the historic fabric; brighten up the space by cleaning the existing stone finishes and installing new general light fixtures; installing new welcome desk and bench with integrated light fixture to guide the visitors through the lobby and elevators spaces. All new elements (desk, bench, chandeliers etc…) were designed with a minimalist style in mind to be neutral and stream lined in the original and very ornate setting.
