The use of the natural light has been promoted throughout the project and especially in the circulation core. The staircases are designed to facilitate the light to penetrate down to the lower floors. A bright and positive feeling welcomes the residents at the entrance. A study of the sunlight projection and shadow spots allowed to shape the new building in a way that leaves enough natural light to penetrate in the existing adjoining building.

Natural ventilation is designed for some flats in addition to more traditional cooling systems.

Roof gardens, terraces and winter gardens are provided to every flat to expand the living space and promote the outdoor stay. The benefit of the winter gardens is also reflected in a better efficiency of the building, temperature control and reduction of the heat loss.
