CER remodel
This project involved the entire remodel of an old single detached house. The intent was preserving the original historic character and charm and at the same time introducing a more contemporary aesthetic.
The traditional features of this house are both beautiful and very distinctive therefore every new material is selected to enhance the traditional look with a modern subtle twist.
Functionally, the house presented a typical “American Foursquare” layout with four equal rooms at every level. The new proposed layout reflects an update of the original plan to respond to a more contemporary way of living, different uses of the rooms and flow from space to space.
The remodel comprises the addition of two bathrooms, a full kitchen renovation, the attic finish and new finishes throughout the entire house.
